Coconut Thogayal
A quickest dish for a lazy or sick day....!!!
Best eaten with hot plain rice and ghee on top
Preparation time: 10 mins
Ingredients:
Coconut : 1 cup
Garlic: 5 pods
Red Chilly: 5 nos
Urad dal:2 tblspn
salt as per taste
tamarind: a small lemon size
oil : 2 tspn

Urad dal:2 tblspn
salt as per taste
tamarind: a small lemon size
oil : 2 tspn
Method:
- Heat a small pan and heat the oil
- Add urad dal and fry until golden
- Add red chilly,garlic and fry for 30 sec and switch off the flame
- Add the coconut in a mixer grinder,along with tamarind, salt and fried urad dal
- Grind it into thick chutney consistency as shown in the picture.
