Prawn Pepper Fry

Chettinadu style super delicious Prawn Pepper Fry



Preparation time: 30 mins
Serves: 4

Ingredients:

Prawns: 300 grams
Onions: 2 nos
Ginger and garlic paste: 2 tspn
Crushed pepper: 2 tspn
Red chilly powder:  1 tspn
Corainder powder:1 tspn
Gram masala:1/2 tspn
Cumin powder:1/2 tspn
Turmeric: 1/2 tspn
Salt as per taste
Hand full of curry leaves
Oil : 2 tblpsn

Method:


  • Marinate the  prawns along with red chilly powder, coriander powder, garam masala, turmeric, cumin powder and salt for 1 -2 hours
  • Heat a kadai and add the oil
  • Saute  the onions until they are brown
  • Add ginger garlic paste , curry leaves and saute well
  • Add the marinated prawns and cover until they are cooked in low flame
  • Once the prawns are cooked uncover and fry it until it is completely dry
  • Add the crushed pepper and saute for a min and switch off the flame
Super delicious chettinadu style prawn pepper fry in ready to serve
