Kovaika Kurkure

Crispy and tasty Kurkure with a twist....



Preparation time: 20 mins
Serves :4

Ingredients :

Kovaika: 300 grms
Onions: 2nos
gram flour: 1cup
Red chilly: 1 tspn
turmeric powder: 1/4 tspn
rice flour: 1 tblspn
salt as per taste
Oil for deep frying
curry leaves: 10 leaves

Method:


  • Make thin slices of Kovaika and Onions
  • Take a mixing bowl and add the sliced kovika and onions
  • Add gram flour and rice flour, mix with the moisture of the vegetable
  • Add red chilly powder,turmeric powder,salt and finely chopped curry leaves
  • Mix everything well,add small amount of water and mix well
  • Heat Oil in a kadai for deep frying
  • Drop the kurkure mixture in the oil
  • Fry it until it becomes golden brown and remove it from the oil into a plate 
Serve Hot along with Tea

Super crispy and tasty kovaika kurkure is ready to eat.
