Panner Tikka
Dhaba style Panner Tikka with green chutney
Preparation time: 30 mins
Serves: 4
Ingredients for panner tikka:
Panner: 200 grams
Curd: 1/2cup
Karuri methi: 1/2 tspn
Red chilly powder: 1 tspn
Coriander powder: 1 tspn
Garam masala: 1tspn
Cumin powder: 1/2 tspn
Turmeric powder: 1/4 tspn
Chat masala (optional) : 1/2 tspn
Lemon juice of 1/2 lemon
Cooking oil: 2 tspn+ 3 tblspn
Salt as per taste
Ingredients for green chutney:
Curd : 1/2 cup
Green chilly: 3 nos
Mint leaves: hand full
Coriander leaves : hand full
Cumin powder: 1tspn
Ginger : 1 inch
Salt as per taste

Method ( Panner tikka)
- Take a mixing bowl and whisk the curd
- Add salt, turmeric powder, Red chilly powder, coriander powder, garam masala, cumin powder, oil, kasuri methi, chat masala and lemon juice and mix well
- Add the panner cut into rectangle shape and marinate it for 15 mins
- Heat a pan or tava,heat up the oil and place the marinated panner all over the tava and fry it in medium heat and flip over once done.
Serve hot with lemon squeezed sliced onions and green chutney
Method (Green chutney):
- Take a mixer grinder and add curd, chopped green chilly, coriander leaves, mint leaves, ginger, cumin powder and salt as per taste and grind it into smooth paste and place it in fridge for 20 mins
- Take it out and serve it with panner tikka or any other tandoori dishes.
